Project Iraq
Soldiers In Iraq Need Our Support

Our first support of our troops in Iraq was
through "Project Steven" on Christmas 2007.
We were able to send 800 pounds and 48
boxes of love and support through food, cards,
and hygiene items to our troops overseas.   We
had a tremendous outpouring of support then
and we have continued our support of our
troops since.  If you would like to become
involved with Project Iraq, please feel free to
contact L.W.A.C. to find out how.

I had the privilege of working with a group of volunteers who helped pack
boxes to send to our "Missile Soldiers" in Iraq.  We were able to obtain all of
the items on their "wish list" and packed a total of 30 boxes!  Everyone was so
excited about participating in Project Iraq.  We will be shipping the boxes this
week and expect to hear from our dear soldiers in about 3 weeks.

Additionally, different families are "adopting" specific soldiers to provide
monthly support and encouragement so that each one will receive cards,
letters and gifts throughout the year.

People are looking ahead and planning for support for these brave American
Heroes!
